What are cookies?

Cookies and similar storage technologies help a website remember a browser or device across requests. Attriax uses a mix of cookies, local storage, and session storage for security, sign-in continuity, saved preferences, hosted Smart Page flows, and optional analytics.

How we use cookies and similar storage

• Strictly necessary storage keeps Firebase Auth sign-in, dashboard session integrity, locale routing, theme preferences, consent records, security, and basic site functionality working.
• Anonymous aggregated Attriax measurement may record a minimal daily activity signal without device or app-user identity once the GDPR consent flow has been completed.
• Hosted Smart Page and redirect flows may set a first-party visitor identifier, such as attriax_sp_visitor, to preserve page-flow continuity and Smart Page behavior.
• Optional Analytics & Performance storage is used for Attriax full website analytics and attribution plus Firebase Analytics only when analytics consent is granted.
• Attriax does not currently enable marketing or advertising trackers on this site.

• attriax-auth-user-hint (cookie) — signals a likely signed-in session before the dashboard loads — first-party — 30 days — strictly necessary.
• attriax-theme (localStorage) — remembers your light, dark, or auto theme — first-party — until changed — strictly necessary.
• attriax_sp_visitor (cookie) — keeps hosted Smart Page and redirect flows consistent — first-party — 1 year — strictly necessary.
• Firebase Authentication storage — keeps dashboard sign-in and account security working — third-party (Google), managed by Firebase — strictly necessary.
• Attriax first-party website analytics — measures page views and events — first-party — only after analytics consent.
• Firebase Analytics (consent mode, advertising storage denied) — website measurement — third-party (Google) — only after analytics consent.

Consent choices

Before the consent panel is shown, Attriax checks whether GDPR consent appears required. If consent is not required, the site records a not-required decision and enables the normal website analytics stack. If consent is required, optional Analytics & Performance starts disabled, and you can accept all, reject all, or configure the category yourself.

Reject All keeps strictly necessary services only, including minimal anonymous aggregated activity. Accept All enables Attriax full analytics and attribution plus Firebase Analytics. Consent choices expire after one year, and you can reopen Cookie settings from the footer at any time.

Managing cookies in your browser

You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies or local storage may affect sign-in, session continuity, dashboard reliability, Smart Page behavior, or other product functionality.
